One Hip Zoo

This nursery was designed for one lucky little boy! Mom and Dad wanted to work with the existing elements of paint color, flooring, mirrored wall and shutters. The goal was for the end result to be a modern, fun, gender neutral take on the “zoo animal” theme. We found a bedding set that had the feel we were going for. It worked with the existing colors and the rest of the design was built around it. The mirrored wall was treated as a giant window. We designed a custom window treatment to surround it and a zoo mural using vinyl recreations of the animals from the bedding. The furniture complimented the overall feel, is built to stand the test of time and grow with the child’s needs. Little details incorporated throughout the room pulled the theme together. How fun is that paper mache zebra head?!
